Osteopathic Doctor

Hi! This is Carrie, and I just wanted to let you all know what happened a few months ago when we visited an osteopathic doctor, Dr. Asher. I had visited him before, but this was Caitlin's first visit with him. I went first with him, and we talked about. . . scoliosis. ;) He even gave me a mini lesson on the head, and brain waves! (Just don't quiz me. . .) Also, in this second session, just like last time, he turned off the lights, and worked on my head- and just like last time my pelvic bone moved. He had released some kind of pressure! He said that the bone would move right back into it's crooked place unless we got ankle support- because both Caitlin and I have ankle pronation. My "kiddish" point of view of ankle pronation is that when my feet and ankles are straight forward, my knees are turned in. So, he said, to solve that problem, both Caitlin and I should get ankle support in our shoes, and to wear them anywhere we go-- including around the house. Hopefully soon we'll get an appointment with the "ankle guy" Dr. Asher wishes us to see. :)
That's all for now-- we'll be sure to keep you posted!

FUH . . . Full Time!

Hey Everyone!
Sorry about the long time between posts-it's been a very busy couple of weeks! I turned 16, had an awesome party, our aunt got married (!!) and we have hosted numerous homeschool and church events~! Whew!
Anyway, I thought I'd leave a little blurb about what is going on and what is coming up~
We have been going to Dr. Fuhs pretty regularly, with a couple of exceptions for my aunts wedding and such. We are not for sure yet, but it looks like Caroline and I will be starting a two week intensive program at Dr. Fuh's. What this would entail is a rigorous schedule of both morning and afternoon appointments, 6 days a week. . . .!!!!
But it will supposedly promote dramatic changes, so we will definitely try and keep you all posted, if indeed we decide to go ahead with it. . .
Thanks for reading our blog!

SNOW WAY!

WOW! There is so much snow outside right now! Currently we have on record 17 inches. . .but there are 3 foot drifts (at least) outside! It is soooo much fun! We have made several snowmen and I am making an igloo-like tunnel out of the mound of snow left by the snow plow!! It is like a winter wonderland!
God's artistic touch is evident everywhere!
Hope that you all have a great, warm week!
